In an effort to promote the Sunshine State as a top accessible destination, VISIT FLORIDA has launched a travel hub that features a range of resources for travelers with different special needs. The site now covers travel ideas, vehicle rentals and suggestions from people with lived experience. So far, there are tips for getting around on streets and sand, destinations for autistic children as well as suggestions for serious anglers. Who knew there were six bass fishing tournaments each year that offer accommodations for disabled anglers? You can find Accessible Travel under the Travel Ideas banner at the top of the VISIT FLORIDA homepage.
